Overview of the market
Organisations are responding to strong regulatory pressures which continues to drive
the need for enhanced Audit/Assurance roles. The market has recorded a small but
sustained rise in Internal Audit recruitment, vacancies in London have fallen while
growth is being seen in regional hubs particularly in the South-East. Salary increases
have been noticeable in the past twelve months with a 7.5-15% rise seen for new
recruits (dependent on experience and seniority) with internal movement seeing
